Danse Macabre for Wind Ensemble Gr. 5

This arrangement of the famous symphonic poem for orchestra has been reimagined for the wind ensemble. While remaining faithful to the character of the original piece, this version is suited perfectly for the modern wind band. Violin solos have been given to the alto saxophones and the addition of vibes and marimba to the percussion section add to the rich texture of Saint-Saens creation.
